Aurélie’s attraction to abstract photography deals with its inherent ambiguity, signifying not the given, but the possible, which in turn, opens the door to interpretation and discussion. She has shown her work in group shows with Milk Gallery, Young Photographer’s Alliance and The Johns Hopkins University. She has recently completed the Mentoring Program with YPA, exhibiting in the winter of 2012 in New York City. Aurélie received a BA from The Johns Hopkins University in 2006. She was born in Bordeaux, France in 1984 and currently resides and works in New York City.
