Christina Labey is an artist, editor, and curator who splits her time between her home state of Minnesota and New York. She studied Photography and Art History at the University of Minnesota Duluth and recently completed her MFA at Parsons The New School for Design. Her own art practice is rooted in photography, often materializing in the form of installation, film, printed ephemera, and artist books. Christina is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Conveyor Magazine, a semi-annual publication that features new artist projects, interviews, and essays that strive to bring new ideas on photography to light. Conveyor Magazine was exhibited in Millennium Magazines at the Museum of Modern Art in New York earlier this year, and is also included in the collection of the International Center of Photography and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, among others.
