Nate Larson and Marni Shindelman’s collaborative series, Geolocation, focuses on the cultural understanding of distance as perceived in modern life and network culture.  Their projects were recently featured in The New York Times, Hotshoe Magazine, The Washington Post, Utne Reader, The British Journal of Photography, the BBC News, and the radio program Marketplace Tech Report. Exhibitions include Blue Sky Gallery, United Photo Industries, Contemporary Arts Center, Las Vegas, FotoFestiwal, Poland, Athens Photo Festival, Houston Center for Photography, Baltimore Museum of Art, Moscow International Biennale in Russia, RAIQ, Montréal, Peloton, Australia, and Conflux Festival, NYC. Their work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Portland Art Museum. They are currently creating a site-specific series of billboards for the 2012 Atlanta Celebrates Photography Public Art Commission and were Artists-in-Residence at Light Work during July of 2012.
