Noah David Bau is an American photographer who divides his time between Bangkok and Boston. Mr. Bau graduated Magna cum Laude from Amherst College as an Independent Scholar in Photography and Sexual Politics. He received his graduate education at the California Institute of the Arts and Stanford University. In 2012, Mr. Bau’s portraits of young professional Thai boxers from the series This Is My Body have been featured in several venues including the Houston Center for Photography, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in New York, the Minneapolis Photography Center and the Lunch Box Gallery in Miami. He was selected by Boston University’s Photographic Resource Center to exhibit at the New York Photo Festival. He received the Legacy Award for his best-in-show image displayed in the 18th Annual Juried Exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Massachusetts.
