Omar Gámez  lives and works in Mexico City. His video and photography work has been shown in Mexico, Havana, Buenos Aires, New York, Barcelona, and Athens, among other cities. In 2009 he published his first monograph The Dark Book and his work is included in public and private collections, and he recently lectured at SVA, ICP, and  CCNY in New York.
