Rona Yefman received her MFA from Columbia University in 2009,  and her  BFA in Photography, Video and Digital Media from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, 1999.   Her recent solo shows have been at The Sculpture Center, Derek Eller Gallery, Sommer Gallery (Tel Aviv) and Participant Inc.  Her work has been recently exhibited at Kunsthalle Vienna, Austria; La Mep Museum, Paris; Annie Wharton Los Angeles; Frieze Art Fair, N.Y,;Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, N.Y; Night Gallery, Los Angeles; The Tel Aviv Museum of Art; MoCA Cleveland; Lombard Fried Project (New York); Museum Marco (Vigo, Spain). Yefman's work has been featured in Art Forum , Art in America, Modern Painters, The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, Frieze, Art Asia Pacific, and Uovo Magazine,   She is the recipient of the Wolf Foundation's Ingeborg Bachmann Scholarship established by Anselm Kiefer (2001), the Gerard Levy Prize from the Israel Museum (2001), The New Israeli Foundation for Cinema and T.V (2004, 2010), the Lotos Club Award and the Rema Hort Mann Scholarship, N.Y in 2009. She has received grants from Artis Contemporary and was selected for the Smack Mellon studio program, Brooklyn, in 2010 and the CCNY Darkroom Residency in 2011. She has  received The New Creation Award and the Young Artist Prize from the Ministry of Education & Culture in Israel.
