TrujilloPaumier is the partnership of Joaquin Trujillo and Brian Paumier, which began collaboration during their studies at Art Center College of Design Pasadena. Trujillo is from a little town on the outskirts of Zacatecas, Mexico, and bears the influence of his heritage with a penchant for pageantry and ostentation. Paumier grew up in Southern California suburbia, informed by cable television and rock and roll. The duo synchronize old-world formality with contemporary ethos, creating the perfect integration of theatricality and witticism, traveling extensively for their personal and commercial work. Their images have appeared frequently in numerous publications and periodicals including The New York Times T Magazine, AFAR Magazine and Conde Nast Traveler.
