For the last ten years Kirstin Broussard has worked as a lecturer and teaching artist at The Museum of Modern Art, The Jewish Museum and The Museum of Arts and Design.
Her work explores the nature of perception both literally and metaphorically. Through performance and deliberate manipulation of the cameraâs mechanism, she creates narrative landscapes that simultaneously dissolve and coalesce. The laws of physics: entropy, reciprocity failure, ghost photography and a minute observation of place all play a crucial role in her work.
She currently splits her time between New York and Berlin.
