Lorraine Gracey has been photographing the sidewalks of New York since the 1980s. A writer by trade, with many years' experience as a contributing writer to photography magazines covering the field from fashion to stock photography and photojournalism, she has captured the city and its people from Harlem to Chinatown. She has studied at ICP, the 92nd Street Y, Educational Alliance and CCNY, where she has been a member since 1992 and currently serves on the board.
