Melitte Buchman works in archives and libraries creating digital cabinets of curiosity, and addressing concerns about place and objects of power. Having worked for many years in color, she has been completely seduced by the beauty of the black and white process of wet-plate collodion. Exhibitions include Soho Photo, CCBC Gallery, BAG Gallery, 23 Sandy Gallery, 80 WSE Gallery, Swallow Gallery, and Tilt Gallery. Recent publications include Shutterclank, and View Camera Magazine.
